Allison Cook has been working as a coach for mindfulness since 2021, among others for the Young Singers Project in Salzburg, after having noticed for many years how much she has benefitted from this method herself.

She is an internationally acclaimed and successful singer. With an extraordinary versatility, her recent seasons have seen several important debuts, including Teatro alla Scala, Gran Teatro del Liceu, Wiener Festwochen, Teatro Colon Buenos Aires, La Monnaie and Oper Zürich as well as the expansion of her original mezzo repertoire to include roles such as Salome, Marie in Wozzeck, Kundry in Parsifal, Judith in Bluebeard’s Castle, Schoenberg’s Erwartung, the Duchess of Argyll in Adès’s Powder Her Face, Miss Jessel in Britten’s The Turn of the Screw, Venus In Tannhauser and the title role in Kaija Saariaho’s Emilie.
