The Evelyn & Martin Wentz Foundation was established in 2017.

Its aim is to strengthen and promote science, art and culture as essential components of an enlightened society. Based in the heart of Frankfurt am Main, we are proud to be a foundation under civil law dedicated to promoting education, research and cultural excellence.

„We see our work as part of the tradition of the Enlightenment – a pursuit of knowledge, understanding and a culture based on the principles of reason, critical thinking and dialogue. Through our projects and initiatives, we strive to promote these values and create a space for artistic and intellectual development.

Since our foundation, we have made it our mission to promote science and research, art and culture, and vocational training in these fields. In doing so, we place particular emphasis on supporting students to help them realise their dreams and professional goals. We achieve this through partnerships and support from renowned institutions such as Dr. Hoch’s Conservatory, the Physikalischer Verein, the Literaturhaus Frankfurt e.V., the University of Music and Performing Arts, and the University of Art and Design.

But our work does not end with financial support. We are active in organising and promoting scientific events, awarding research grants, presenting prizes, and offering scholarships. Each of these initiatives reflects our commitment and our endeavour to make a positive and lasting contribution to the development of our society.
